Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a permanent on-site logistics support professional in Florida to manage import documentation, tracking, and coordination with global agents.

You will use Maestro and MS Office tools to ensure timely shipments and accuracy across the supply chain. The role requires a detail-oriented mindset, flexibility with shifts, and experience in cold chain or handling dry ice.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and MS Outlook.
• Experience with import documents and shipping procedures.
• Detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment to maintain accuracy.
• Experience with cold chain management or handling dry ice is a plus.
• Flexible with shift hours to meet Next Flight Out demands.
• Forklift certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Use Excel/Outlook for inventory and shipment data and maintain communication with agents.
• Prepare and review shipping papers and import documentation per guidelines.
• Learn and use Maestro to update milestones, create flight plans, and enter data in the TMS.
• Track shipments, verify weight/piece counts, and post-flight departures.
• Send pre-alerts to global agents and escalate issues to leadership.
• Handle dry ice, manage temperature needs, and keep workspace organized and clean.
• Complete GxP documentation logs and ensure accurate labeling.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Computer & Documentation: Utilize MS Outlook for constant communication with agents and Excel for tracking inventory and shipment data.
• Import/Export Coordination: Prepare and review shipping papers and import documentation in accordance withglobal guidelines.
• System Management: Learn and master our internal transportation system (Maestro) to update milestones, create flight plans, and enter data into the TMS.
• Tracking & Manifesting: Ensure all recovered shipments are scanned upon arrival, checked against the manifest for weight/piece count, and “Post-flighted” to confirm departure.
• Communication: Create pre-alerts for global agents and elevate any logistical concerns to senior leadershipimmediately.
• Warehouse Support: Handle dry ice safely, replenish shipments based on temperature needs, andmaintainan organized, clean workspace.
• Compliance: CompleteGxPdocumentation logs and ensure all labeling (weight, orientation, etc.) is 100%accurate.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Computer Proficiency: Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and MS Outlook isrequired.
• Logistics Background: Previousexperience working with import documents and shipping procedures.
• Attention to Detail: Ability tomaintain“zero-error” accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Cold Chain Knowledge: Experience with cold chain management or handling dry ice is a major plus.
• Flexibility: Ability to be flexible with shift hours to meet the “Next Flight Out” demands.
• Physical Requirements: Ability toassistin the recovery, unloading, and tendering of shipments to airlines (Forklift certification desired).
• Monday to Wednesday 10:00AM -6:30pm with 2 weekend daysSaturday 09:00AM / Sunday 09:00AM-5:30pm
