Job summary

Menzies Aviation in San Diego is seeking a role that supports flight release, fuel coordination, and passenger services. You will maintain logs, communicate with air carriers, and coordinate with ground handling teams to ensure on-time operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 70 lbs. Pre-employment physicals and drug testing are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience/training.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and FAA airport identifications/seals as required.
  • Able to continuously lift/move/push 70 lbs.
  • Must pass pre-employment physical and a drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate flight release and fuel load information to operations.
  • Maintain lines of communication with line operations and air carriers via two‑way radios.
  • Coordinate operations with the airline and ground handlers.
  • Maintain flight logs and update flight schedules.
  • Coordinate with billing for services and compile data for each flight for final billing.
  • Arrange accommodations when flight delays occur.
  • Assist in gate assignment planning and control.
  • Assist with passenger services as required.
  • Recommend weight and balance preparation per airline requirements.
  • Meet the Station’s attendance standards.

Role Purpose



  • Communicate flight release and fuel load information to appropriate operations.

  • Maintain lines of communication with line operations and air carriers through the use of two‑way radios.

  • Coordinate operations with the airline and ground handlers.

  • Maintain flight logs and update flight schedules.

  • Coordinate with departments in billing for services rendered and compile information for each flight and submit for final bill preparation.

  • Make arrangements for accommodation when flight delays occur.

  • Assist in the planning and control of the gate assignment.

  • Assist with passenger services as required.

  • Recommend weight and balance preparation in accordance with airline requirements.

  • Is able to meet the Station’s attendance standards.

What we are looking for:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.

  • Possess/maintain a valid driver’s license and other FAA Airport required identification/seals or authorizations.

  • Able to continuously lift/move/push 70 lbs.

  • Must pass pre‑employment physical and a drug test.
