Job summary

Cellino Plumbing, Heating and Cooling in New York is seeking a full-time Dispatcher to support our technicians and Customer Care Team. You will receive, verify, and dispatch requests, schedule appointments, and maintain the dispatch board.

Advertised pay rate is $20 per hour plus bonus. This is a full time position, work hours are 7am until approximately 4pm weekdays. Overtime is common.

The Big Task

• Receive, verify, and dispatch customer requests, as well as schedule and confirm appointments.
• Organize, prioritize, and assign customer jobs to field technicians.
• Dispatch technicians, maintain the dispatch board
• Complete and submit reports as required to supervisor and management.
• Support Customer Service and answer incoming calls as needed.
• Work with warehouse on tracking truck repairs, tools, and PO’s.
• Send messages and appointments to technicians.
• Attend to customer questions and requests
• Communicate and work closely with Managers
• Maintain regularly scheduled appointment status updates for customers
• Audit scheduled service call appointments
• Follow all standard company procedures for call taking, scheduling sold jobs, taking deposits
• Update customers in regards to anticipated arrival times and reschedules
• Respond promptly and appropriately to customer requests, resolving issues and promoting the brand
• Be responsive to the needs of internal and external customers
• Maintain and update the customer database with complete and accurate information
