Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is a leading provider of outdoor living and utility infrastructure products across North America. We are seeking a coordinator to prepare production and transportation schedules, coordinate deliveries, and verify loads to meet customer requirements.

The role supports operations by assessing inventory levels, negotiating with vendors for competitive pricing, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in the field or related area is required; at least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of crane truck capabilities and jobsite deliveries.
• Must be organized, self-starter, with a detail oriented personality.
• Some mechanical experience with vehicles and trucks.
• Knowledge of local geography and roads to establish travel times.
• Strong problem solving and analytical ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at a supervisory level.
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Good attendance and positive attitude a must.

Responsibilities

• Approve and manage all outside haulers.
• Coordinate with loading crew for the next day deliveries.
• Verify product inventory levels.
• Perform all tasks necessary to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory agencies.
• Handle purchasing for plant operations and negotiate prices with vendors for quality service and best prices.
• Review prior orders to determine replenishment levels and negotiate costs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Prepare schedules (production and transportation schedules), coordinate delivery activity, verify loads to ensure customers’ requirements are met, and assist in ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory agencies.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle purchasing responsibilities which include purchasing all items needed for the operation of plant and plant offices while ensuring that the vendorsprovide quality service, products and the best available prices
• Reviews success of previous orders to determine extent to which inventory should be replenished and to negotiate prices
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Compensation

• The hourly rate is $28 - $32/hr
