Job summary

Ironclad Environmental Solutions is seeking a Dispatch/Operations Coordinator to ensure timely delivery and pickup of units while enforcing safety and DOT regulations. You will manage drivers, yards, and scheduling across branches, input assignments into RentalMan, and coordinate with customers and vendors. The role involves maintaining logs, training drivers, and supporting sales collaboration.

The position emphasizes safety, multi-tasking, and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• 1 year of dispatching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and state-specific rules.
• Customer service experience beneficial.
• RCRA/Hazwopper certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure driver and dispatch safety by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Manage drivers and yard operations across branches, including scheduling and vehicle assignment.
• Enter deliveries and pickups into RentalMan database and review upcoming routes.
• Track driver progress, troubleshoot, and set daily/weekly priorities.
• Conduct driver performance discussions and training; collect delivery/pick-up docs.
• Communicate with customers for scheduling and updates; answer related questions.
• Maintain logs and trucking profit margins; coordinate with vendors for hauling and permits.
• Collaborate with branch and corporate sales for scheduling; perform additional duties as assigned.

About The Job

The primary focus of this position is to ensure that all Ironclad Environmental Solutions’ units are successfully delivered and picked up from customer sites, while ensuring the drivers are following all safety and DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure driver and dispatch safety by enforcing safety policies and procedures.


• Manage drivers and yard operations across multiple branches, including scheduling and assigning vehicles.


• Plan and review upcoming deliveries/pick-ups and enter assignments into the RentalMan database.


• Track driver progress, troubleshoot issues, and set daily/weekly priorities.


• Conduct driver performance discussions, training, and ensure collection of proper delivery/pick-up documentation.


• Communicate with customers for scheduling, delivery/pick-up updates, and answer related questions.


• Maintain and file daily/weekly/monthly logs, preventative maintenance records, and trucking profit margins.


• Coordinate with external vendors for hauling services and transportation permits.


• Collaborate with branch and corporate sales for scheduling.


• Perform additional duties as assigned.
