Job summary

Ironclad Environmental Solutions seeks a capable dispatcher to ensure timely delivery and pickup of units across multiple branches, while enforcing safety and DOT regulations. You will plan assignments, monitor driver progress, coordinate with customers, and maintain logs and maintenance records.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential; one year of dispatch experience and a valid driver's license are required, with HazWopper/RCRA certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 1 year of dispatching experience.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• RCRA / Hazwopper certification a plus.
• Knowledge of DOT and state safety regulations.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure driver and dispatch safety by enforcing safety policies.
• Manage drivers and yard operations across branches, including scheduling.
• Plan and review deliveries/pickups; enter assignments into RentalMan.
• Track driver progress; troubleshoot issues and set priorities.
• Maintain logs and trucking documentation; coordinate with vendors.
• Communicate with customers regarding scheduling and updates.
• Collaborate with sales and branches on scheduling.

About the JobThe primary focus of this position is to ensure that all Ironclad Environmental Solutions’ units are successfully delivered and picked up from customer sites, while ensuring the drivers are following all safety and DOT regulations.Key Responsibilities:Ensure driver and dispatch safety by enforcing safety policies and procedures.Manage drivers and yard operations across multiple branches, including scheduling and assigning vehicles.Plan and review upcoming deliveries/pick-ups and enter assignments into the RentalMan database.Track driver progress, troubleshoot issues, and set daily/weekly priorities.Conduct driver performance discussions, training, and ensure collection of proper delivery/pick-up documentation.Communicate with customers for scheduling, delivery/pick-up updates, and answer related questions.Maintain and file daily/weekly/monthly logs, preventative maintenance records, and trucking profit margins.Coordinate with external vendors for hauling services and transportation permits.Collaborate with branch and corporate sales for scheduling.Perform additional duties as assigned.Equipment Used:Computer, telephone, radio, and electronic office equipmentMS Office SuiteGPS and tracking softwareWhy Join Us:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity for career growth and developmentHands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive work environmentBe part of a company committed to environmental sustainability and innovationAt Ironclad Environmental Solutions, you can build a rewarding career and provide exceptional service in the process.
