Job summary

What You’ll Do

  • Answer emergency and non-emergency calls for police, fire, and EMS services

  • Use multi-line phones, radio systems, and computer-aided dispatch ( CAD ) tools to coordinate rapid response

  • Communicate clearly and calmly with callers and first responders during high-stress situations

  • Relay essential information to public safety officials and partner agencies

  • Maintain accurate records and reports

  • Complete six months of paid training
