Job summary

Quikrete Dispatcher role seeks a dedicated professional to manage daily delivery schedules, coordinate drivers, and provide excellent customer service across our Twin Falls operations. You will input orders accurately, verify delivery details, and solve issues quickly to maintain smooth plant-to-customer throughput.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of customer service experience, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with dispatch tasks. Bi-lingual Spanish/English is valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior dispatch, tracking and scheduling experience preferred.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) is highly valued.
• Typing and internet navigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch and coordinate drivers to meet daily volume requirements.
• Maintain a professional voice over the phone/radio and deescalate tense situations.
• Remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Input orders accurately for delivery and verify delivery details.
• Assist drivers in finding job sites and know delivery areas.
• Determine travel time to jobs and best plant locations to service the job.
• Review and input orders to customer specifications for delivery.
• Verify delivery and product information on orders prior to delivery.
• Handle high call volumes while multitasking with plants, drivers, and team.
• Maintain driver timekeeping and time off requests; manage time off schedule for sick days and personal days.
• Daily review of driver timecards, delivery time reports and time entry/tracking.

We are looking for a DISPATCHER to join our team. As a Dispatcher with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for compiling orders, scheduling deliveries and drivers and providing customer service.

About the Role

• Dispatch and control the Drivers needed throughout the day and make any necessary adjustments to maintain daily volume requirements.
• Have a professional and respectful voice over the phone/radio, with the ability to deescalate tense situations.
• Able to remain calm and decisive in a potentially high stress/fast-paced work environment.
• Solve problems in a timely manner while fostering lasting business relationships with our customers/drivers.
• Must be familiar with our delivery areas and must be able to assist drivers in finding job sites.
• Must be able to determine travel time to jobs and best plant locations to service the job.
• Accurately and promptly input orders to customer specifications for delivery.
• Review and verify accurate delivery and product information on orders prior to delivery.
• Must be able to perform in high call volume situations while multitasking with plants, drivers, team members in the office.
• Coordinate Driver timekeeping functions, including receiving and documenting time off requests. As well as, maintaining Driver time off schedule in respect to sick time and personal days
• Daily review of Driver timecards, delivery time reports and time entry/ tracking.

About You

We Require

• A minimum of 3 years customer service experience preferred.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Prior dispatch experience, tracking and scheduling is preferred.
• Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) will be highly looked upon.
• Computer Skills: typing skills, internet navigation.
