Job summary

Anew Solutions in Pevely, MO is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate and monitor shipment movement from load assignment through final delivery. You will ensure on-time performance, proactive communication, accurate documentation, and customer satisfaction while following company policies.

Responsibilities include load management in the Transportation Management System, communicating with carriers and drivers, recording calls and emails, supporting escalations, and ensuring smooth shift handoffs

• Load Management & Tracking: Assign and set up loads by entering accurate pickup/delivery details, customer requirements, and carrier/driver information into the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Communication & Support: Maintain clear, professional communication with carriers, drivers, and customers. Document all calls, texts, and emails in the TMS.
• Shift Handoff & Reporting: Prepare and send end-of-shift reports detailing pending issues and load updates to Inbound and management dispatch emails.
• Compliance & Performance: Monitor on-time pickup and delivery performance. Follow all company procedures and policies for dispatch operations.

Position:Dispatcher

Location: Pevely, MO

Department: Operations/Dispatch

Reports To: Inbound Team lead

Shift: 10:30am - 7:00pm

Position Summary
The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of shipments from load assignment through final delivery. This role ensures on-time performance, proactive communication, accurate documentation, and customer satisfaction, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Load Management & Tracking
  • Assign and set up loads by entering accurate pickup/delivery details, customer requirements, and carrier/driver information into the Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Verify carrier and driver contact information.
  • Monitor load status, update notes in TMS, and track shipments through Turvo, Super Dispatch, or direct communication.
  • Confirm driver location and ETA prior to pickup and delivery.
  • Send Outbound request to Outbound Zendesk after order is dispatched.
• Communication & Support
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with carriers, drivers, and customers.
  • Phones remain in active status unless away from workstation.
  • Document all calls, texts, and emails in the TMS.
  • Provide support for escalations, rate changes, or route adjustments.
  • Escalate unresolved issues within 15 minutes of detection.
• Shift Handoff & Reporting
  • Prepare and send end-of-shift reports detailing pending issues and load updates to Inbound and management dispatch emails.
  • Ensure smooth handoff between shifts for continuous monitoring of shipments.
• Compliance & Performance
  • Monitor on-time pickup and delivery performance.
  • Report any late pickups to management via email with proper documentation.
  • Follow all company procedures and policies for dispatch operations.
