Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate driver routes and respond to inquiries from drivers and customers in real-time. This on-site role in Oklahoma City requires strong scheduling and communication skills to assign routes, monitor deliveries, and resolve issues promptly.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in inbound/outbound call handling and scheduling, plus a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Respond to driver and customer inquiries and requests for information.
• Use computer systems to retrieve schedules and assets and assign routes.

• Schedule customer delivery appointments and route drivers according to hours of service regulations.
• Complete daily reports and clerical duties; ensure paperwork for on-time departures.

Respond to customer inquiries and needs in a timely manner.* Use computer system to retrieve schedule and asset information. Use reference material to quickly and accurately determine the best method to assign driver resources and routes striving for maximum efficiency and utilization while reducing mileage when possible.* Update, prepare, and dispense the daily route schedule. Monitor and document route manifests and deliveries throughout the day adjusting for changes as needed. Make and schedule appointments with customers that require delivery appointments. Route drivers according to their skill set and available DOT mandated Hours of Service regulations.* Complete a variety of daily reports and clerical duties.
