Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a full-time, on-site Dispatch Associate to manage driver assignments for owner-operator trailers and coordinate freight movements. • Issues record sheets and all related paperwork to drivers.
• Trouble shooting and notifying appropriate parties of any changes.
• Records time of departure, destination, cargo, and expected time of return.
• Investigates overdue vehicles.
• Directs activities of drivers by two-way radio.
• Confers with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed, or damaged merchandise.
• Heavy communication with drivers on a daily basis.

Summary:

Assigns work for Company and owner operator trailer drivers for conveyance of freight by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience

Tues­day- Saturday 11:00am-8:00pm

Pay Range:

$27.00 - 30.00/hr

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
