Job summary

Giltner Transportation in Jerome, Idaho is seeking a full-time Dispatcher to coordinate daily trucking routes with routing software and keep drivers and customers informed. Dispatcher Job Description

A dispatcher is responsible for using the latest routing software to establish daily trucking routes and maintain contact with drivers throughout the day. The successful candidate for this position needs to be able to adjust to last-minute changes, communicate with customers and drivers to record details about shipments, arrange pick-up times, and discuss any special handling issues.

Dispatcher Responsibilities

Dispatcher Qualifications

• McLeod software experience a plus
