Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. in Ft. Worth, TX is seeking an experienced full-time Dispatcher to join our branch.

The Dispatcher will schedule crane and haul truck tasks, gather customer requirements, and maintain accurate daily schedules, equipment, and invoicing information. Responsibilities include receiving calls from customers, recording job details, assigning operators and riggers, specifying crane size, location, and special rigging needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• College degree preferred.
• 3–7 years of industrial dispatching/scheduling duties.

Responsibilities

• Schedules job tasks for cranes and haul trucks after receiving customer requirements.
• Records the daily schedule: crane size, operator, date/time, customer, location, and task description.
• Completes job tickets with invoicing information, including contact and invoicing details.
• Coordinates with On-Call staff to address schedule conflicts, manpower, and equipment concerns.
• Reviews all scheduled tasks with On-Call at end of shift.

Records on the daily schedule, the crane size required, assigned operator, date and time required, customer, location and description of the job task, special rigging that maybe required, contact name and phone number(s), and invoicing information.Responsibilities:Receives incoming calls from external and internal customers.Records the following on the daily schedule:Crane size required for the job task.Completes the job ticket with the following information:Assigned operator and/or rigger for the job task.Date and time requested to be on job site and estimated hours or days till completion of the task.Customer complete company's name that will be receiving the invoice.Direction to job location and the description of the job task.Special rigging that maybe required. (i.e. spreader bar, man basket, etc.)Contact's name and phone number(s)Invoicing information.Date of the assigned job task.Time the operator and/or rigger is to be at locationWeight and height of the load that will be lifted.Reach, the total horizontal distance the load will be lifted away from the crane.Coordinates efforts with the person "On-Call" whenever the schedule is nearly full and/or if there are any concerns such as over lapping times for job assignments, manpower, equipment concerns, etc.At the end of your shift reviews with the person "On-Call" all the job assignments that is on the schedule along with any other job tasks that may be forthcoming.Qualifications:High School diploma or GED required.College degree preferred.Preferred - have a current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).3-7 years of industrial dispatching/scheduling duties.3-7 years of crane operations, and proper rigging techniques.Mechanical and analytical skills preferred.Ability to read, interpret, and determine that an assigned crane can perform the lift by utilizing the manufacturer's load charts.
