Job summary

TNT Crane & Rigging, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced full-time Dispatcher for the Ft. Worth Branch. Local candidates only. You will schedule crane and haul truck tasks, record details, and coordinate with operators to meet customer requirements.

Requirements include 3–7 years in dispatching and crane operations, with mechanical/analytical skills and CDL preferred. Competitive benefits are included with employment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming calls from customers and coordinates tasks.
• Records daily schedule including crane size, operator, date/time, and invoicing.
• Completes job tickets with required details such as contact and location.
• Schedules tasks and coordinates with On-Call personnel as needed.
• Reviews shift assignments with On-Call at period end.

TNT is looking to add an experienced full-time dispatcher to our growing Ft. Worth Branch. The following are a list of requirements; You must meet all the requirements below to be considered for this position.

Summary: The position schedules job tasks for cranes and/or haul trucks after receiving requirements from customers. Records on the daily schedule, the crane size required, assigned operator, date and time required, customer, location and description of the job task, special rigging that maybe required, contact name and phone number(s), and invoicing information.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming calls from external and internal customers.
• Records the following on the daily schedule:
  • Crane size required for the job task.
  • Completes the job ticket with the following information:
    • Assigned operator and/or rigger for the job task.
    • Date and time requested to be on job site and estimated hours or days till completion of the task.
    • Customer complete company's name that will be receiving the invoice.
    • Direction to job location and the description of the job task.
    • Special rigging that maybe required. (i.e. spreader bar, man basket, etc.)
    • Contact's name and phone number(s)
    • Invoicing information.
• Date of the assigned job task.
• Time the operator and/or rigger is to be at location
• Weight and height of the load that will be lifted.
• Reach, the total horizontal distance the load will be lifted away from the crane.
• Coordinates efforts with the person "On-Call" whenever the schedule is nearly full and/or if there are any concerns such as over lapping times for job assignments, manpower, equipment concerns, etc.
• At the end of your shift reviews with the person "On-Call" all the job assignments that is on the schedule along with any other job tasks that may be forthcoming.

• College degree preferred.
• Preferred - have a current Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• 3-7 years of industrial dispatching/scheduling duties.
• 3-7 years of crane operations, and proper rigging techniques.
• Mechanical and analytical skills preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and determine that an assigned crane can perform the lift by utilizing the manufacturer's load charts.
