Aston Carter is seeking a Dispatcher for a contract position based in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role supports 250 drivers across three terminals, coordinating loads, routes, and driver communications during off-hours.

The 3rd Shift & Weekend Dispatcher plays a crucial role in maintaining operational continuity outside of standard business hours. This position supports drivers in home‑daily and over‑the‑road positions at terminals located in Cedar Rapids, IA, Circle Pines, MN, and Columbus, OH. Working under the direction of the Off‑Shift Supervisor, the dispatcher serves as the primary point of contact for drivers during their shift, ensuring that loads move as planned, drivers remain informed, and any operational issues are resolved or documented before the dayshift resumes.
The work environment is a trucking office setting, where the dispatcher will collaborate with other off‑shift personnel to ensure seamless operations. This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $26.44/hr.
