Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to organize the daily dispatch of equipment for the branch in a safe and timely manner. You will schedule drivers, take customer orders for deliveries and pickups, and coordinate emergency repairs to meet operational needs.

This role emphasizes safety, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for career development within a leading equipment rental provider.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations.
• Strong safety awareness and multitasking ability.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Other duties as assigned

This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Technical knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations
• Diligent attention to safety
• Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
