Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Dispatcher to organize daily equipment dispatch at the branch and support the field team. You will schedule drivers, handle customer orders for deliveries and pickups, and coordinate emergency repairs while maintaining a strong focus on safety and service.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid license, and knowledge of DOT rules. You will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with Inside sales and other teams to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to multitask.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in taking customer telephone orders for deliveries, pickups and service.
• Arrange for all emergency field repairs.
• Answer customer calls and review driver schedules to fulfill requests.
