Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to coordinate daily transportation for participants and enrollees, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication across clinics and drivers.

You will manage schedules, handle add-ons, cancellations, and no-shows, and provide weekend coverage while maintaining a strong customer-focused, safety-driven approach. Requires driving eligibility and background checks. Compensation includes base pay plus bonus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; professional experience may be substituted.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a public or private transportation setting.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a dispatcher setting.
• Current valid state driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• DMV pull notice and random testing for alcohol/controlled substances; pass DOJ/FBI background check; pass DOT physical.
• Eligibility to drive under WelbeHealth’s commercial auto insurance; age requirements per policy.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage daily transportation schedules, accommodating cancellations, add-ons, and last-minute requests.
• Perform active dispatching to support daily transportation operations.
• Maintain a daily call log for operational tracking and communication.
• Monitor HUB inquiries and operational requests.
• Update schedules based on Direct Line changes and updates.
• Provide timely documentation of cancellations or no-shows to the clinic team.
• Provide weekend dispatch coverage as needed.

On the day-to-day, you will:

• Perform active dispatching to support daily transportation operations

• Monitor and respond to HUB inquiries and operational requests
• Update schedules based on Direct Line changes and updates
• Provide timely documentation of cancellations or no-shows, communicating any missed appointments with the clinic team
• Provide weekend dispatch coverage as needed

Job requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalency; professional experience may be substituted
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience working in a public or private transportation setting
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a dispatcher setting
• Current valid state driver’s license and vehicle insurance required
• Participate in the DMV pull notice and random testing for alcohol and controlled substances programs, pass DOJ/FBI background check, and pass DOT physical exam
• Must maintain the eligibility to drive under WelbeHealth’s commercial auto insurance program; applicants must generally be at least 25 years of age; candidates ages 23–24 may be considered based on driving history and other underwriting criteria; drivers over age 70 may be required to provide current medical certification

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
