Job summary

ERGOS Technology Partners is seeking an experienced Dispatchable Tier 2 Engineer to support California-area clients both remotely and on-site. The role combines field dispatches with remote ticket resolution, handling mid-level escalations and hands‑on deployments across Windows, macOS, AD, and Microsoft 365 environments.

The ideal candidate will perform office/workstation setups, network device installations, and basic security and VPN troubleshooting while maintaining detailed ticket records

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical support in a service desk or MSP environment.
• Field support and on-site troubleshooting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, AD, Office 365, and basic Windows Server administration.
• Fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi).
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for dispatches.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to explain technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 & 2 support via phone, remote, and on-site dispatch, handling escalated tickets and hardware/software issues.
• Perform hands‑on field work including workstation setups and network device installations.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across Windows/macOS/AD/Office 365 environments.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).
• Assist with basic network maintenance—firewalls, switches, and Wi‑Fi.
• Troubleshoot VPN connections and site‑to‑site connectivity.
• Maintain thorough ticket documentation from intake to sign-off.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 3 when needed.
• Ensure high client satisfaction through proactive communication and reliable travel to client sites.
