Job summary

Fuel Me is seeking a proactive Dispatch Coordinator to optimize fuel delivery logistics from order intake through delivery confirmation. You will coordinate dispatch, assign vendors, and ensure on-time performance while documenting activities for customers and internal teams.

You will monitor live deliveries, handle exceptions, and communicate status updates to customers and success managers. Senior roles include owning dispatch for key accounts, mentoring coordinators, and driving process

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or operations support.
• Strong multitasking ability — comfortable managing concurrent delivery orders across accounts.
• Experience with dispatch platforms, TMS systems, or AI-powered logistics tools.
• Understanding of fuel delivery logistics and customer SLA management preferred.
• Excellent communication for coordinating with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
• At senior levels: territory-level dispatch ownership, process design, and team mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate fuel delivery dispatch — assign vendors to orders based on location, availability, and customer requirements
• Monitor active deliveries in real time and intervene on at-risk or delayed orders
• Process delivery confirmations, exception documentation, and completion reports accurately
• Manage account-specific delivery requirements including scheduling, access instructions, and special handling
• Communicate delivery status updates to Customer Success Managers and customers as needed
• Escalate delivery exceptions, vendor no-shows, and emergency requests per established procedures
• Leverage AI-powered dispatch tools and automated scheduling for routing and vendor assignment
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency delivery coordination
• At senior levels: own dispatch for key accounts, mentor coordinators, and drive process optimization
• Contribute to SOP improvement by identifying recurring issues and proposing process fixes
