Job summary

Amrize in Eagan, MN is seeking a Dispatch I - RMX to manage on-time delivery performance, order accuracy, and driver coordination while ensuring DOT compliance. You will help grow the hauler network, ensure policy adherence, and develop the customer base.

The role requires 2–3 years of industry experience and solid computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet); HS diploma and associates degree preferred. On-site position with comprehensive benefits and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Act as customer contact for delivery inquiries and coordinate the sales order delivery process.
• Manage incoming internal and external customer phone calls, exercising judgment within standard practices.
• Ensure customer understands all relevant company policies including will calls and driver responsibilities.
• Inform customer of warnings concerning product hazards, load limits, vehicle weights and limitations.
• Schedule workforce (drivers) daily to maximize service and minimize costs; monitor efficiencies.
• Review next day orders to ensure correct mapping, travel times, addresses and delivery instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Promote a culture of safety and adherence to health, safety and environmental policies.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsible for on time performance, order accuracy and maintaining and growing overall truck fleet while maintaining DOT compliance.Assist in growing the company’s hauler selection, DOT compliance, assure compliance with company policies, risk management, DOT and other regulatory requirements. Develop current customer base.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Act as customer contact for delivery inquiries and coordinate the sales order delivery process
• Manage incoming internal and external customer phone calls, exercising judgment within specification of standard practices.
• Ensure customer understands all relevant company policies including will calls, additional products ordered and driver responsibilities.
• Inform customer of warnings concerning product hazards, load limits, vehicle weights and limitations.
• Schedule workforce (drivers) on a daily basis with the intention of maximizing service and minimizing costs; manage drivers and monitor efficiencies throughout day.
• Review next day orders to ensure are correctly mapped, have accurate travel times, address and delivery
  instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Additional Education Preferred: Associates degree
Required Work Experience: 2-3 years of industry experience
Required Technical Skills: Must have refined computer skills including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the internet.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without a calculator
• Above average written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc)
• Skills: Short haul trucking background & phone solicitation skills
• Physical Requirements: Candidate must be able to sit for long periods
• Additionally, they must be able to use common office tools and technology, such as cell/officetelephone, calculator, and other electronic devices. Must be able to use computerized equipment and highly sophisticated computerized devices
• Ability to work in a stressful, deadline oriented environment that requires complex, technical information and decision making. Must have a strong analytical orientation
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approve
• Personal Protection Equipment , including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
