Job summary

R+L Carriers in Sauget, IL is seeking a Dispatch Clerk to join our service center team. This full-time role operates 6:30pm–3am, with PTO after 90 days and a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision and vacation lodging at our employee resorts.

Responsibilities include responding to calls, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and supporting dispatchers. Excellent organizational and computer skills are required to succeed in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency.
• Type at least 30 WPM with accuracy.
• Dependable and well organized.
• Must be computer literate.
• Strong office, telephone, and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

Hourly rate is $18.76 hr.

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 6:30pm - 3am

R+L Carriers has immediate need for a Dispatch Clerk to work in our Sauget, IL Service Center office. Responsibilities will include answering calls on a multi-line system, redirecting calls to appropriate contacts, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers. Other duties may apply as requested by management.

Requirements

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to type 30 WPM with accuracy
• Dependable and well organized
• Must be computer literate
• Possess strong office, telephone, and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products

Preferred

• 2+ years of experience as a clerk or similar role in a fast-paced environment
• Freight logistics experience
