Job summary

Fenix Parts Inc is seeking an Automotive Dismantler with mechanical experience for a full-time, on-site role in Rahway, NJ. You will dismantle vehicles to extract engines, transmissions and drivetrain parts while ensuring quality and environmental care.

Responsibilities include safe removal, labeling, testing engines and components, proper fluid handling, and maintaining a tidy workspace with proper documentation. 1 year of hands-on experience and tool ownership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hands-on automotive mechanic experience including engine removal.
• Experience removing engines, transmissions and drivetrain components.
• Must own and maintain essential mechanical tools.
• Physical ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove engine, transmission, differential and drivetrain components.
• Tag and label parts to meet standards during dismantling.
• Test engines and electrical components for quality and safety.
• Manage drainage and storage of fluids in an environmentally responsible way.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete necessary documentation.

Position Overview: Automotive Dismantler As a key player on our team, you’ll engage in the dismantling of vehicles, focusing on the safe and efficient extraction of valuable parts such as engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components.
