Job summary

Fenix Parts is hiring an Automotive Dismantler in Winchendon, MA. You will dismantle vehicles, focusing on safely extracting engines, transmissions and drivetrain components while ensuring parts meet quality standards.

Responsibilities include labeling, testing engines/electrical parts, managing fluids responsibly, and maintaining organization and records. 1+ year automotive experience preferred; lifting up to 75 lbs required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on automotive mechanic experience including engine removal.
• Experience with transmissions and drivetrain components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive parts.
• Own and maintain essential mechanical tools.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove vehicle components, including engines, transmissions and drivetrain parts.
• Tag and label parts to ensure quality and traceability.
• Test and evaluate engines and electrical components.
• Manage fluids drainage and storage in an environmentally responsible way.
• Keep work area clean and complete required documentation.

Position Overview: Automotive Dismantler

As a key player on our team, you'll engage in the dismantling of vehicles, focusing on the safe and efficient extraction of valuable parts such as engines, transmissions, and drivetrain components. Your role is crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of these parts, helping us supply top-tier products to customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Removal of Vehicle Components: Extract drivetrain components, including engines, transmissions, differentials, driveshafts, axels and more.
• Quality Assurance: Tag and label parts accurately, ensuring all components meet our high standards.
• Testing and Evaluation: Conduct thorough testing of engines and electrical components.
• Environmental Responsibility: Manage the proper drainage and storage of fluids, embodying our commitment to environmental care.
• Workspace Management: Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and complete all necessary documentation.
