Job summary

Fenix Parts in Winchendon, MA is seeking an Automotive Dismantler for a full-time on-site role. You will dismantle vehicles, extract engines and drivetrain components, and ensure parts meet quality standards. You will test engines/electricals and handle fluid drainage responsibly while keeping an orderly workspace.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of hands-on automotive mechanic experience including removal of engines, transmissions and drivetrain components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automotive parts and their functions.
• Must own and maintain essential mechanical tools.
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safe removal of vehicle components including engines, transmissions, differentials and driveshafts.
• Tag and label parts to ensure quality standards.
• Test and evaluate engines and electrical components.
• Manage fluids drainage and storage to meet environmental care standards.
• Keep workspace clean, organized and document all actions.

• Quality Assurance: Tag and label parts accurately, ensuring all components meet our high standards.
• Testing and Evaluation: Conduct thorough testing of engines and electrical components.
• Environmental Responsibility: Manage the proper drainage and storage of fluids, embodying our commitment to environmental care.
