Job summary

Our Chook on Pearl location is looking for a part time dishwasher - Monday - Wednesday evenings.

The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all pots, pans dishes and glassware for Chook.

Reports to: Kitchen Manager

Full-Time (30 to 40 hours/week) or Part-Time (15 to 29 hours/week)

Hourly : miniumum of $20/hour – which is a combination of base hourly pay ($19.29/hr) and tip pool percentage

Availability: Must be able to work mornings, days, weekends, and evenings with a flexible schedule that may change often. Potential staff will need to communicate school, other work, and all other special schedule requests prior to the beginning of employment.

We also encourage our employees to use public transportation, bikes, and/or walk whenever possible.

Performance Expectations of the Dishwasher:

• Maintains a clean work station and restaurant while on shift.
• Performs pre-shift side work duties, running side work throughout shift, and closing or end of shift side work with attention and care.
• Polishes glassware for beverage service.
• Appropriately asks questions when necessary.
• Appropriately asks for help when necessary.
• Follows all safety procedures at Chook.
• Arrives on time for all shifts in a clean uniform with good personal hygiene.
