IHOP Lovell Rd in Knoxville is now hiring for 1st and 2nd shifts. No prior experience required; we train the right candidate. Starting pay is $12 per hour, with weekends required and nights available.

This role supports a clean, welcoming dining experience and fast-paced kitchen operations. Key duties include washing and sanitizing dishes, maintaining kitchen and dining area cleanliness, assisting with food prep, clearing tables, and helping front-of-house during busy periods.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including dish storage and cleaning supplies.
• Assist with food preparation and ingredients as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow for kitchen staff.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
• Set and reset tables according to dining room standards and guest preferences.
• Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors and restrooms, kitchen and the parking lot.
• Support the front of house team during busy periods to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
