We-Ko-Pa Golf is seeking a dependable dishwasher to support the Food & Beverage department in Scottsdale/Fort McDowell, AZ. The position is regular part-time with a 40-hour workweek and non-exempt status.

You will sanitize utensils, glassware, and cookware, operate the dish machine, and maintain cleanliness throughout shifts, while following safety and sanitation procedures. Indian Preference applies to qualified applicants.

HOURS PER WEEK: 40

POSITION DESCRIPTION: To provide guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plateware, glassware, and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Provide guests and employees with clean and sanitized utensils, plateware, glassware, and equipment.
• Ensures dishes are sanitized and available as needed.
• Always keeps sanitation solutions in company codes.
• Sets up the dish machine in the AM and closes down the machine in the PM according to company procedures.
• Maintains daily cleanliness and maintenance of the dishwasher machine.
• Washes plateware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans, and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift.
• Knowledgeable of chemical handling.
• Places clean plateware, glassware, silverware, and pots/pans on specified shelves according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Keeps dish areas clean by sweeping, mopping floors, wiping countertops, and emptying trash.
• Performs shift change and/or closing duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be neatly dressed and well-groomed in a clean approved company dress code attire.
• Stands and walks during 6–8-hour shifts.
• Reaches, bends, stoops, and wipes during shift.
• Lifts and carries supplies and equipment up to 60 lbs. throughout the entire shift and places these items on high and low shelves in storerooms, walk-ins, and freezers.
• Hazards include but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass, metal cans, burns, and slipping and tripping.
• Frequently immerses hand in the water.
• Works frequently in a hot and damp environment.
