Job summary

Silverstone Living, based in Nashua, NH, is seeking dishwashers to join our Dining Services team. We offer flexible hours and paid meal breaks, with the possibility to balance after-school activities and sports. The position emphasizes sanitation, safety, and team-based work in a caring resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and sanitizing agents.
• Basic knowledge of safety and sanitation rules and practices.
• Ability to operate dish machine and other equipment as directed.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to maintain sanitary dish room and food service areas.
• Set up, operate and clean the dish machine.
• Clean and sanitize dishware, pots, pans, and equipment as directed.
• Sweep and mop floors and remove trash from all food service areas.
• Transport dishware and food items between kitchen and serving areas.
• Oversee dish room sanitation at closing and ensure safety.

Overview

We are currently seeking Dishwashers to join our team! Flexible hours and days are available; just ask and we are happy to discuss with you! After school, around other sport or extra curricular activities and/or responsibilites are possible: days, afternoons, evenings. Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Following established procedures to ensure the sanitary maintenance of dish room and entire food service area.


• Responsible for set up, operation and cleaning of dish machine.


• Cleans and sanitizes dishware, pots and pans and equipment as directed.


• Sweeps and mops floors, removes trash from all food service areas.


• Conveys dishware and food items to and from main kitchen area.


• The closing dishwashers are responsible for the entire operation of the dish room after 7 m. They are responsible for the entire sanitation of the dish room at closing.


• Acts in the receiving and storage of goods; performs other duties as directed.


• Assumes responsibility for self-safety and that of immediate work environment.


• Attending annual in-service on body mechanics, right-to-know laws, and fire and safety


• Adheres to all Community Policies and Procedures including uniform, break schedule and smoking.
