Job summary

Meridian At Westwood is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment for residents. You will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and contribute to a positive dining experience.

The role requires availability to work shifts, including weekends and evenings, with schedules from 6:00am to 2:00pm or 11:00am to 7:00pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed.
• Time management skills.
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules.
• Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings.
• High school diploma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash specific items by hand.
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
