Job summary

Judson-Services in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Dining Utility Associate/Dishwasher to support our dining services. This full-time role requires assisting with food prep, sanitation, and serving according to menu and dietary guidelines.

You will review menus, coordinate with the production team, manage daily cleaning tasks, and help ensure accurate orders and a safe, welcoming dining environment. Minimum age 16, HS diploma or GED required; ServSafe preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 16 (if still in high school).
• Experience in food service preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep coolers, freezers, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Review daily menu, specials, and spreadsheets.
• Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens.
• Communicate with production team to ensure orders are correct.
• Identify and gather food items needed for meal service.
• Prepare, portion and serve food according to menu and diet modifications.
• Perform sanitation procedures and proper food storage.
• Reset tables and replenish dining room supplies.
• Perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks.
• Follow HAACP procedures during preparation, cooking, serving and storing food.
• Sweep and mop as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will I do in this role with Judson?

As a Dining Utility Associate/Dishwasher, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities:

• Assist in keeping all coolers, freezers, and storage areas cleaned and organized.
• Review daily menu, specials & spreadsheets.
• Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets & allergens.
• Communicate with production team to ensure orders are delivered correctly & special requests are accommodated.
• Identify & gather food items needed for meal service.
• Prepare, portion & serve food items according to menu, utilizing spreadsheets as appropriate for therapeutic and/or consistency modified diets.
• Perform a variety of tasks, including general sanitation procedures, ensure proper food storage (including prepping, serving daily hot & cold food for breakfast, lunch & dinner as assigned.
• Reset all tables and replenish table supplies in dining rooms.
• Perform daily, weekly & monthly cleaning projects as assigned.
• Use HAACP food handling procedures during preparation, cooking, serving & storing food.
• Sweep & mop as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

What do I need for this role with Judson?

• High School Diploma or GED required -- must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age if still in high school.
• Experience working in food service preferred.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
