Marriott Vacations Worldwide is hiring a Dishwasher to support our culinary team in creating memorable guest experiences at our property in Washington. You will handle dishware, maintain sanitation, and assist with general kitchen duties to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires flexibility in shifts, physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety and cleanliness standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends.

• Must pass background and drug screening per company policy.
• Experience in a fast-paced food service environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dish area.
• Operate the dish machine and related cleaning equipment.
• Store clean wares in designated areas and organize supplies.
• Assist with stocking and organizing pots, pans, and utensils.
• Greet guests professionally and support the team in serving needs.

As a Dishwasher, a typical day will include:

• Ensures proper and safe handling and storage of equipment, returning equipment to appropriate location .
• Ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas .
• Cleans and maintains sanitation areas and organizes cleaning supplies including hanging up mops and brooms.
• Organizes supply rack, including pots, pans, serving spoons, utensils, etc.
• Operates cleaning equipment and tools to ensure only clean and sanitary items are used in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.
• Racks dirty items (silverware, plates, glassware, etc ).
• Inspects, pulls, and stacks cleaned items.

Guest Experience and Company Standards

• Welcome and greet guests and anticipate and address their needs.
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
• Contribute to team goals.
• Always follow company policies and safety procedures.

To Become a Dishwasher at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time .
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 50 lbs without assistance .
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
