Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a dishwasher to keep bakery equipment clean and ready for production. You will work with a friendly team to ensure cleanliness and safety, while supporting bakers in daily operations.

The role emphasizes training, advancement opportunities, and a casual dress code. Expect to contribute to a joyful workplace that serves celebrations across communities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No formal education or work experience required, prior experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manually wash, rinse and sanitize all pans, dishes, utensils and tools per NbC standards.
• Monitor sanitization levels to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Assist baker with preparing ingredients and placing pans in the oven, monitoring baking.
• Assist with daily baking and production flow.
• Package, label and store baked cakes and rotate products; maintain logs.
• Greet housekeeping tasks: collect garbage, sweep and mop floors.
• Clean windows, shelves, counters, refrigerator and bathrooms as routine.
• Restock and sanitize workstation; ensure cleaning supplies are ready for next shift.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies; notify management when restocking is needed.
• Assist unloading and storing weekly supplies deliveries.
• Support teammates in organizing workstations.
• Follow health, safety guidelines and NbC policies including dress code and hygiene.
• Maintain attendance and punctuality.

Job responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

• Manually washes, rinses and sanitizes all baking pans, dishes, utensils and other tools in a thorough and timely manner and adheres to all NbC standards.
• Monitors sanitization levels to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Assists baker with accurately preparing raw ingredients and equipment for baking, places cake pans into hot oven and monitors the baking process.
• Assists baker with daily baking and production flow and processes
• Adheres to the proper packaging, labeling and storage of baked cakes as well as product rotation standards, and maintains baking and refrigeration logs.
• Gathers and removes garbage, sweeps and mops floors, and cleans floor drains.
• Performs routine cleaning of windows, shelves, counters, refrigerator, cooler and bathroom.
• Cleans, sanitizes and restocks workstation and ensures all cleaning supplies are sufficiently prepared for the next shift.
• Monitors inventory of cleaning supplies and notifies management when replenishment is required.
• Assists in the unloading, processing and storage of weekly supplies delivery.
• Supports other team members in cleaning and organizing workstations as needed.
• Complies with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintains a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Is able to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents such as recipes, operating procedures and health and safety rules, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
• Has the ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require the strength to lift items of moderate to heavy weight (as many as 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time.
• Is able to operate commercial-grade ovens and other bakery equipment and work adjacent to a high-heat source.
• Can evaluate processes, information and surroundings to determine compliance with standards.
• Possesses the discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
• Is diligent, organized and self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

Education, Certifications and Work Experience Requirements

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• While no formal education or work experience is required, previous experience is a plus.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
