SuViche Hospitality Group is hiring a Dishwasher for the Commissary (Warehouse) in Miami. Monday to Friday schedule, on-site with no weekend shifts. You will wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, while maintaining a clean, organized dishroom and assisting HOH positions.

Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred. Ability to work in hot, wet, and loud conditions and lift up to 60 pounds is required. The location is Miami, FL 33142.

• Able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any problems.
• Monitor water temperature for sanitary wash cycle.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Keep dishroom clean and organized.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Bag and haul dishroom trash to dumpster as scheduled.
• Handle tableware to prevent breakage.
• Maintain detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Clean food prep and production areas as required.
• Be available to fill in to ensure smooth operation as directed by supervisor.
• Follow cleaning chart, keep areas spotless.
• Complete daily checklist.
• Attention to detail in floors, trash, restrooms and dish areas.

Description

Summary of Position:

Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment. Keep the dishroom and equipment clean and organized. Work as a team with other HOH positions. This is a warehouse the load and volume of work is different to a restaurant, the equipments we use is basically large pots, trays, large totes and large cutting boards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Load, run and unload dish machine.


• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.


• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.


• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.


• Keep dishroom clean and organized.


• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.


• Bag and haul dishroom trash to dumpster at designed times.


• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.


• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.


• Clean food preparation and production areas as required.


• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.


• Follow company cleaning chart, keep all areas spotless


• Complete all cleaning chart and daily checklist


• Attention to detail, floors, trash, restrooms and dish areas must be clean at all times


• Prioritize safety, immediately clean and dry any spills to prevent accidents.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant experience required (Commercial kitchen experienced preferred)


• Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.


• Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.


• Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).


• Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds.
