Job summary

Twin Farms in Barnard, Vermont, is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our culinary and service teams by ensuring all dishes and kitchenware are clean, sanitized, and ready for use.

The role emphasizes maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organization, and teamwork in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment, with opportunities to contribute to overall kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing, kitchen, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Properly organize and store clean dishes, equipment, and utensils in their designated areas.
• Stock service stations, cupboards, kitchen areas, and other assigned spaces with necessary dishes, glassware, and utensils.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the dishwashing and back-of-house areas.
• Empty, clean, and sanitize trash and recycling receptacles as needed.
• Move dishwashing supplies, chemicals, and equipment from storage areas to designated workspaces.
• Assist with basic food preparation or other kitchen tasks as directed by the culinary team.
• Follow all Twin Farms standards and applicable local and state requirements related to sanitation, food safety, workplace safety, and cleanliness.
• Work collaboratively with culinary and service team members to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Assist with additional cleaning, organization, and kitchen responsibilities as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
