Responsibilities

• Daily Cleaning & Sanitizing:Perform complete cleaning of ovens, stoves, walls, exhaust hoods, filters, and other kitchen equipment as assigned by the supervisor

• General Kitchen Maintenance:Sweep, mop, and scrub floors; remove food scraps and debris; clean and sanitize countertops, sinks, and appliances

• Waste Management:Empty trash and recycling bins, transport waste to designated areas, and replace liners/lids to maintain sanitary conditions

• Deep Cleaning & Disinfection:Conduct deep cleaning and disinfection of high-touch surfaces (e.g., handles, buttons, light switches) using approved EPA-registered disinfectants

• Equipment Care:Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and ready for use

• Special Tasks:Respond to spills, guest requests, or unexpected cleaning needs during overnight shifts

• Restocking & Supplies:Replenish cleaning supplies and restock kitchen areas as needed

• Work in a high-energy kitchen environment, supporting the culinary team in their food preparation and service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment
• Operate dishwashing machinery and ensure proper handling and storage of cleaned items
• Assist with basic food prep tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients
• Follow safety and hygiene standards to ensure a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow and timely service
• Exhibit a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
