Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts in Virginia Beach is seeking a dishroom/kitchen steward for the Delta Hotel by Marriott Virginia Beach Waterfront. You will maintain sanitation, assist in dishwashing, and support overall kitchen operations on a frontline property team.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs on a continuous schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of dishroom, kitchen aisle, and dock area.
• Break down trays, operate dish machine, wash dishware, and store all clean china, glass and silver.
• Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside.
• Clean dock area and dumpster; break down dish machine and clean inside and outside.
• Clean all breakdown tables; clean tile walls and baseboards.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
