Job summary

The Delta Hotel by Marriott Virginia Beach Waterfront, part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a dedicated housekeeping team member to maintain guest rooms to brand standards and deliver a positive guest experience. You will clean, replenish, and organize rooms with a focus on quality and guest privacy.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards.
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and other room supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, showers, tubs, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
• Replenish guest room amenities, toiletries, linens, and other supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and remove used linens and other items from guest rooms.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damage, maintenance concerns, or missing items and report issues promptly.
• Ensure guest rooms are properly arranged and presented according to hotel standards.
• Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items.
• Maintain and organize housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies throughout the shift.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to established procedures.
• Follow all hotel, Marriott, safety, sanitation, and housekeeping standards.
• Communicate room status, maintenance concerns, and guest requests to the Housekeeping Supervisor or appropriate department.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining other areas of the hotel as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the hotel.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
