Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a motivated team member to support the kitchen by washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and restocking supplies at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, WA. You will help maintain sanitation logs and follow safety guidelines in a high-traffic area.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, obtain a Washington Food Handlers Certification, and be flexible across multiple days and shifts.

Qualifications

• Willing to obtain a Washington Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Team-oriented and reliable in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily sanitation log for dishwashing area.
• Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans and glassware.
• Ensure chemical levels are correct in dish machine.
• Practice energy and water conservation; report leaks.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen workspace.

With over 22,000 sq. ft. of event space, it’s a premier destination for retreats, conferences, and celebrations.#PGH-SKLWhat you will have an opportunity to do:Maintain daily sanitation log for both dish machine and manual pot washing sink.Clean and sanitize all dish ware, pots, pans, and glass ware either by hand or by using the dish machine.Ensure all chemicals are at sufficient levels in the dish machine.Be energy conscious and turn off lights when not in use, keep water faucets turned off and report any leaks to supervisor or manager on duty.You will be a key player in safety by paying close attention to specific high traffic areas to avoid accidents, slips, trips, and falls.Use proper dishes and glass racks to ensure proper cleaning and avoid chips, cracks, or breakage of small wares.Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment.Can learn different tasks within the kitchen and develop new skills.Be a part of a team and assist in other areas when business levels dictate.Properly recycling all cardboard using the compactor.What are we looking for?Ability to work on feet for most of the shiftAbility to obtain a Washington Food Handlers CertificationAbility to work various days and shifts is highly desired#ZR80Compensation:-Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
