Job summary

Belmont Village Rancho Santa Fe is seeking a Dishwasher/Steward to join our luxury senior living community’s culinary team. You’ll help keep dishes, equipment and kitchen areas clean, sanitized, and ready for service in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Must communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments.
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations.
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries
• Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction

You’ll work alongside our culinary team in a professional, hospitality-focused environment, helping keep dishes, equipment and kitchen work areas clean, sanitized and ready for service.
