Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Ability to follow daily instructions and tasks.
• Experience or familiarity with cleaning standards in a commercial kitchen.
• Willing to work early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, operate the dish machine, clean equipment, sweep and mop floors, maintain appliances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food and equipment to meet health and safety standards.
• Assist cooks with non-food preparation tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen and dish room environment.
• Assist with stocking following food deliveries.
• Prioritize hospitality, resident satisfaction and excellent service.

Join the culinary team at our newly constructed luxury senior living community as a Dishwasher / Steward, where your experience maintaining a clean, organized and efficient kitchen will be an important part of delivering an exceptional dining experience. You’ll work alongside our culinary team in a professional, hospitality-focused environment, helping keep dishes, equipment and kitchen work areas clean, sanitized and ready for service. We’re looking for experienced candidates who understand the pace, teamwork and high standards of a quality hotel, resort or high volume restaurant kitchen and take pride in keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. Your Typical Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in the kitchen, including operating the dish machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping floors, and maintaining appliances

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age

• Demonstrated ability to follow instruction for daily assignments
• Experience with cleaning standards in a commercial food operations
• Ability to work assigned shifts including early morning, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community
