Job summary

The Gold Ranch Casino in Verdi, NV is hiring a dishwasher to clean, transport and store dishes, pots and utensils for Food & Beverage operations. You will help maintain clean, organized kitchen and storage areas while supporting open-shift needs.

Requirements include 6 months dishwashing experience preferred, ability to work in extreme temperatures, communicate in English, HS math, and physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and push carts.

Qualifications

• 6 months dish washing experience in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English language.
• High School level math.
• Knowledge of chemicals, sanitation and ware washing techniques and procedures.
• Interact courteously with coworkers to maintain kitchen standards and quality customer service.
• Maintain clean appearance and practice good personal hygiene per health rules.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, transports and stores all pots, pans, dishes, and utensils used in the Food and Beverage operations and maintains cleanliness/order of storage rooms and kitchen areas of property.
• Cleans and sanitizes all dishes, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans in restaurant.
• Ensures the restaurant has the requisite amounts of the above to properly open their shifts and that there are sufficient amounts of carts to place dirty items in for transport.
