Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment, and utensils in an orderly and sanitary condition.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes, washes by hand or loads into dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
2. Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation.
3. Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and methods, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
4. Ensures compliance with safety procedures.
5. Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
6. Keeps dish area orderly and safe.
7. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet sanitation standards.
8. Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
9. Removes trash, manages waste disposal, and cleans garbage cans.
10. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
11. Assists with loading and unloading supplies and products.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.
