Job summary

Whispering Pines Lodge is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to support our kitchen operations and ensure residents receive meals with clean utensils. This role emphasizes sanitation, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

You will wash dishes, pots, and pans, maintain dishwashing stations, and help keep the kitchen organized while following safe food-handling practices and company policies.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow instruction in English to operate dishwashing equipment.
• Ability to safely and efficiently run dishwashing processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and utensils.
• Communicate effectively with team during rush periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Cleanliness: Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils according to cleaning schedules and procedures
• Set Up and Operate: Prepare dishwashing and pot washing areas, and operate equipment properly
• Distribute and Store: Return clean dishes and utensils to their proper storage locations
• Clean Kitchen Areas: Sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and surfaces as scheduled
• Handle Waste Management: Remove trash and maintain cleanliness in dishwashing and kitchen areas
