Job summary

The Old Spaghetti Factory in Colorado Springs is seeking a Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our team. The position helps maintain cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the kitchen, supporting a high standard of food service.

You will wash dishes, prep produce, and assist the kitchen team while following safety standards. No experience is required; paid training is provided, with flexible scheduling and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Basic kitchen knowledge preferred but no experience required.
• Excellent work ethic and positive attitude.

• Attention to detail, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, and kitchen cookware efficiently and promptly, following established procedures and standards.
• Handle and store all dishes, utensils, and equipment properly to maintain cleanliness and prevent breakage or damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dishwashing area, including sweeping, squeegeeing, mopping, and emptying trash as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards and regulations including proper handling and disposal of waste and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards.
• Wash and chop produce, measure ingredients, prep stations by following prep list.
• Follow strict food safety and sanitation standards, including proper food handling, storage, and labeling.
• Work closely with the kitchen team ensuring proper food preparation for a smooth and efficient food service
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace by performing cleaning tasks, sanitizing equipment and organizing food storage.
• Follow safety policies and procedures including proper knife and kitchen utensil handling and wearing proper protective gear and maintaining a safe working environment.
