What You'll Be Doing

As a Dishwasher / Prep at Uliveto, you'll play a key role in ensuring our kitchen operates like a well-oiled machine. Here's a closer look at your responsibilities:

Dishwashing Duties

• Wash dishes: Keep pots, pans, plates, and silverware sparkling clean throughout service.
• Run equipment: Load and operate the commercial dish machine efficiently.
• Organize items: Return clean dishes, glassware, and utensils to their proper storage spots.
• Manage trash: Empty dirty water, change garbage bags, and break down cardboard boxes.

Food Prep Tasks

• Chop ingredients: Slice vegetables, peel potatoes, and portion meats to keep the kitchen ready for action.
• Make backups: Prepare extra sauces, dressings, and side dishes to ensure nothing runs out during service.
• Stock stations: Keep the chef's prep rails filled with fresh ingredients before the dinner rush begins.

Assisting the Chef During Service

• Hand items: Quickly pass tools, plates, or ingredients to the line cooks when needed.
• Fetch supplies: Grab extra food or clean pans from the walk-in cooler as needed.
• Keep the area clear: Wipe down counters and remove dirty trash pans to maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Closing and Cleaning

• Scrub stations: Sanitize prep tables, counters, and cutting boards at the end of the shift.
• Clean equipment: Break down, wash, and reassemble slicers, mixers, or deep fryers.
• Mop floors: Sweep and mop the entire kitchen floor to leave the space spotless.
