Job summary

Fox Corporation's Fox Studio Lot in Los Angeles is seeking a Dishwasher/Pot Washer to join the kitchen team. You will handle washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes, and support both Front and Back of House operations.

This role requires a team player with good communication, flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends and overtime, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The pay rate is $30.50 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Washing, sanitizing, and storing all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment as assigned by the Outlet Chef.
• General cleaning of the kitchen, including the kitchen floors.
• Sweeping and mopping floors per guidelines and directions from the Outlet Chef.
• Cleaning spills in the kitchen immediately.
• Cleaning up and wiping down the station at the end of the shift.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Maintaining all equipment in good working order.
• Maintaining the trash compactor and trash room, odor-free; hosing down as needed.
• Keeping ware washing and pot washing areas clean and properly set up.
• Providing support for Front and Back of House operations by ensuring wares and equipment are available and sanitized.
• Emptying garbage cans from the main kitchen and other designated areas.
• Removing rubbish regularly and disposing of it properly.
• Cleaning floors and mats in the kitchen at assigned intervals.
• Completing special projects as assigned by the Outlet Chef (filters, ovens, etc.).
• Adhering to all State and Local Health Department rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by chefs/supervisors

The Fox Studio Lot is looking for a Dishwasher/Pot Washer to join their team in Los Angeles, CA.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Washing, sanitizing, and storing all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glassware, utensils, and other kitchen equipment as assigned by the Outlet Chef
• General cleaning of the kitchen, including the kitchen floors.
• Sweeping and mopping floors per the established guidelines and/or as directed by the Outlet Chef
• Cleaning spills in the kitchen immediately
• Cleaning up and wiping down the station at the end of the shift
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Maintaining all equipment in good working order through proper use and care
• Maintaining the trash compactor and trash room, keeping it free from odors, and hosing down regularly using appropriate cleaning solutions when needed
• Keeping ware washing and pot washing areas clean and properly set up, stainless steel polished and spot free; floor wiped and free of debris, garbage disposal emptied; compactor clean, and breakdown of all boxes
• Providing support for both the Front and Back of the House operations by ensuring the necessary wares and equipment are always available, and they have been properly cleaned and sanitized
• Emptying garbage cans from the main kitchen and other designated areas
• Removing rubbish at regular intervals and disposing of it in the designated location
• Cleaning floors and mats in the kitchen and other designated areas at assigned intervals.
• Completing special projects as assigned by the Outlet Chef, such as cleaning of filters, ovens, refrigerators, mixers, racks, metal surface polishing, etc.
• Adhering to all State and Local Health Department rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned by chefs/supervisors
