Compensation

Negotiated depending on experience and history. Starting Rate $19/hr

Required Experience

2-3 years experience in a restaurant preferred (Willing to train the right candidate)

Availability

Flexible availability with weekends, evenings, and holidays required.

The Canteen is looking for dishwashers to join our high-energy Summer back of house team. (Hiring for the Canteen and Commissary Kitchen)

We would prefer applicants with dishwashing experience, but we would be happy to train a highly motivated, communicative, and ambitious person as well.

Responsibilities include:

1. Cleaning and sanitizing dishes and kitchen equipment
2. Preparing menu items to meet quality, portion, and time standards
3. Putting away and organizing daily deliveries (ability to lift 35lbs or more regularly)
4. Maintaining cleanliness/sanitation of the kitchen and storage spaces
5. Daily kitchen cleaning (mopping, equipment sanitizing, trash removal)
6. Giving great service to co-workers
7. Additional tasks specific to the restaurant
8. Assist in maintenance of outdoor dining areas
9. Clean and refresh guests' bathrooms
10. Additional tasks specific to our commissary kitchen
11. Picking orders and packing company van twice daily
12. Driver's license preferred but not necessary
