Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring for part-time dishwashers at North Knoxville Medical Center in Powell, TN. Schedule: 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM; days may vary. Prior dishwashing experience preferred. You will maintain dishes, pots, pans, and work areas in clean, sanitary condition.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in dishwashing machine, ensuring cleanliness.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and maintains sanitation.
• Polishes silver and maintains cleanliness of equipment and surfaces.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and sanitation standards.
• Maintains proper temperatures and chemical levels as required.
• Keeps dish area orderly and clean.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety standards.
• Washes prep surfaces and other kitchen areas.
• Removes trash and manages waste disposal.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
