Marcus Theatres is seeking a Part Time Dishwasher to maintain a clean, efficient kitchen by washing, sanitizing, and returning dishes while supporting food and beverage operations. The role supports a busy, high-volume environment and offers opportunities to grow within Marcus Theatres.

Qualified applicants should be flexible with scheduling (weekdays, weekends, nights, holidays) and able to stand for long periods, lift up to 45 pounds, and follow sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays.
• No prior experience required; previous food/beverage or restaurant experience is helpful.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced, team environment.
• Positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to cleanliness, sanitation and personal hygiene.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 45 pounds.
• Work in a kitchen with moderate to high noise and increased activity during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dish machine according to guidelines.
• Receive, rinse, rack, wash and sanitize dishes and utensils.
• Unload and return clean dishes to kitchen and Food & Beverage areas.
• Empty garbage cans in the dish area and kitchen.
• Sweep and mop floors to keep areas clean and dry.
• Clean countertops and equipment with approved products.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and per standards.
• Assist with moving food carts and equipment as directed.
• Perform additional tasks to support operations.

What we are looking for:

What you will be doing:

• Properly fill, operate, and maintain the dish machine according to manufacturer standards and health department guidelines.

• Receive, scrape, rinse, rack, wash, and sanitize dishes and utensils.

• Unload the dish machine and stack, store, and return clean dishes and utensils to the appropriate areas of the kitchen and Food & Beverage operation.

• Empty garbage cans in the dish area and throughout the kitchen as needed.

• Sweep and mop floors in the dish room and kitchen, keeping floors clean and dry to help prevent slip and fall hazards.

• Clean countertops, preparation areas, equipment, and other designated kitchen areas using approved restaurant cleaning products.

• Handle cleaning chemicals according to prescribed safety standards.

• Assist with lifting and moving food carts, dish storage racks, and other kitchen equipment as directed by management.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall operations.

• Support a culture of cleanliness by consistently following and reinforcing company cleaning standards. Take ownership of maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment at all times.
